Delivery Information

1. Delivery

1.1 Delivery Destination

Delivery destination defaults to UK mainland to change the destination simply click on the link at the top of the page To: UK (mainland) you will be taken to a page with a drop down menu for you to choose your destination from, you can also change your delivery destination in your basket.

1.2 Estimated Delivery Time

Product pages display real time estimated delivery times for UK mainland addresses calculated from stock held in our shop and warehouse. These are colour coded for ease of use and whilst we make every effort to deliver inside these time scales, unfortunately it is not always possible to do so. We will endeavour to contact you should delivery times alter. Therefore, please allow up to 28 working days for delivery.

If you order several items with different estimated delivery times your order will be dispatched when all items are available for dispatch, if you would like a part dispatch please contact us to make arrangements.

If you wish to guarantee next day delivery please contact us directly on 01432 377089, and have your order details ready when you call.

1.3 Delivery Method

We use 3 methods of Delivery.

Royal Mail 1st Class DeliveryRoyal Mail sent 1st class, which will be delivered with your normal mail.

Interlink Express Courier Delivery Interlink Express Couriers, who deliver the next working day (unless, delivery address is: off shore; north of Glasgow, or is international. They will leave a card if there is no one able to confirm delivery however as they require a signature on delivery (unless instructed otherwise) it is important to provide us with a manned address for delivery or further instructions.

Direct from Supplier DeliveryDirect delivery from the manufacturer or supplier.

 

1.4 Email and Text service with your delivery time from Interlink.
By providing us with your email address and mobile phone number, our couriers Interlink Express will email you the night before delivery to confirm that they have your order and will be delivering it to your requested address, on the morning of your delivery they will text you with a 1 hour time slot for delivery and give the option to change delivery day by replying to the text. If your order is dispatched by Royal Mail or direct from manufacture you will not receive this service. To upgrade to this service please contact us.

 

1.5 Shortages / Damage on Delivery. 

All order shortages, wrong items or items found to be damaged or faulty on delivery must be reported within 5 days of receipt of the order, failure to do so may result in us being unable to rectify the problem.

1.6 Delivery Miscellaneous

Should your order be returned to us undelivered, we will charge a redelivery fee for sending the goods out a second time, to cover our costs.

2. Postage and Packing costs

Our postage and packing charges work on a sliding scale, in an attempt to be fair to all. This scale is designed to work on order value - the heavier an item or items are, the more it will cost for delivery. Our postage and packing charges range from £0.00 GBP to £45.00 GBP per item. The postage you will be charged on an order can be viewed in the shopping basket.

Some products have a fixed postage cost which will be added to the overall delivery cost. A product may have a fixed cost due to a special offer on postage on that product or due to the size and weight of a product making it difficult to delivery.  Products with fixed postage cost have the postage displayed on the individual product page.

Philip Morris & Son may offer free postage on some items or orders over a certain value from time-to-time.  Free postage is for the initial order only. Should these orders be returned to us for reasons other than a fault, Philip Morris & Son will charge a handling fee of £5.50GBP per consignment, to cover administration costs.  Or a redeliver charge as applicable.
