Payment for goods
Cheques are to be made payable to Philip Morris & Son, if paying by cheque please put your cheque guarantee card number and expiry date on the back of the cheque.

PrivacyAll information that comes into our possession will remain private and confidential to Philip Morris & Son. All data collected is treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not pass any of your private information onto anyone else and we do not ask you to open an account with us, any information collected is only used for your order. We do ask for an email address although it is not necessary, this is used to send confirmation when your order has been despatched and any parcel tracking information that may be relevant, it may also be used to contact you only if there is a problem with your order. When you make a purchase over the internet your card details are not seen by us and are kept secure with the HSBC bank. If for any reason you change your order or return an item for a refund then a request for card details over the telephone may be needed. At Philip Morris & Son we take security very seriously and any card details taken over the telephone are kept secure until the order is complete and are then shredded to optimise security and protect our customers. Cookies on our site are used so any items you enter into your basket that you do not complete on a purchase can be stored ready for your next visit. We also use cookies to track which internet page each visit has come from but we do not collect any private information from you or your computer. We do not make cold calls and any contact made from us will only be made on request by you or if there is a problem with your order.
Security
When you place an order with us, the information you send is protected by Secure Server software (SSL) and encrypted. After you've selected the items you wish to order, your browser will go into 'secure mode' (usually indicated by displaying a padlock) before asking for any of your details. On completing your purchase, you will leave 'secure mode'.
Delivery
Philip Morris & Son will try to despatch all orders within 48 hours of the order being received, however this may not always be possible, due to unforeseen events such as temporarily being out of stock. Therefore please allow up to 28 days for delivery.
We use 3 methods of Delivery, Royal Mail which will be delivered with your normal mail, Interlink Express Couriers who deliver the day after dispatch, leaving a card if there is no-one in, they will require a signature on delivery unless instructed otherwise it is therefore important to provide us with a manned address for delivery or instructions. Finally we may have goods dispatch direct from the manufacturer.
Should your order be returned to us undelivered, we reserve the right to charge a redelivery fee for sending the goods out a second time.

Postage and Packing costs
Our postage and packing charges work on a sliding scale, in an attempt to be fair to all. This scale is designed to work on order value - the heavier an item or items are, the more it will cost for delivery. Our postage and packing charges range from £0.00 GBP to £45.00 GBP per item. The postage you will be charged on an order can be viewed in the shopping basket in the top right hand corner.
Some products have a fixed postage cost which will be added to the overall delivery cost. A product may have a fixed cost due to a special offer on postage on that product or due to the size and weight of a product making it difficult to delivery. Products with fixed postage cost have the postage displayed on the individual product page.
Philip Morris & Son may offer free postage on some items or orders over a certain value from time to time. Should these orders be returned to us for reasons other than a fault, Philip Morris & Son reserve the right to charge a handling fee of £5.50GBP per consignment, to cover administration costs.
Philip Morris & Son may also choose to promote their website by distributing special offer codes giving discount on postage, which must be used before the expiry date of the offer

VAT

Refunds and Exchanges
Damaged or Faulty goods
In the unfortunate event of an item being damaged or faulty which in your opinion is due to a manufacturing error please return the item immediately for our inspection. Please note: We may have to return the item to the manufacturer for inspection. Items deemed to be a manufacturing fault will be replaced free of charge.
Returns
Philip Morris & Son will refund or exchange any unsoiled item (with tickets still attached) returned to us within 28 days of original delivery date. Please include in the package your order reference number and a reason for return, this will speed up the process. You can claim a full refund less postage or alternatively exchange any item. We advise you to use the Post Office cheapest option and obtain a *proof of postage certificate. If we have agreed to refund your postage because it’s considered we are at fault then we will refund a maximum of £15.00 postage only. For heavy items please be sure not to exceed this amount. We do have a collection service available from £15.00 so if the item is heavy then please contact us first and we will try to help. For parcels valued up to £30 a signature’s not required although Recorded Delivery is accepted. For parcels valued much higher than £30 you are advised to send insured for the value of the item but if we have agreed to refund postage its set to a maximum of £15.00 (GBP). Philip Morris & Son is not liable for returned parcels in transit, in the event of any claim it is the sender who is responsible for processing the claim. If in the unfortunate event your parcel does get lost then Royal Mail will refund up to a maximum of £36 or the item value whichever is smaller. *Royal Mail will compensate loss only if you’ve obtained a proof of postage certificate from the post office.
Returning Footwear
Due to government and EEC regulations Philip Morris & Son are unable to accept any footwear that is contaminated with soil or any other material. Philip Morris & Son would therefore ask that all footwear being returned is methodically cleaned to aid a speedy conclusion to the return.
Stock levels and price changes
Philip Morris & Son endeavour to keep a full selection of all stock, but this is not always possible, should you order an item that is out of stock or unavailable we will endeavour to advise you and may recommend an alternative. Any substitute item supplied that is not satisfactory can be returned.

Philip Morris & Son endeavour to keep up to date with all price changes, this however is not always possible, Philip Morris & Son therefore reserve the right to discontinue a line or change price at any time.
Pictures
We endeavour to provide the best available pictures on our website, however some pictures may misrepresent the product. We apologise for any confusion that may be caused by this, if in doubt please contact us directly.
Gift Wrapping
There is an extra charge of £2.00 GBP for each item gift Wrapped, this service consists of the gifts being wrapped in gift paper, all price tags being removed, a message of your choice being add to the gifts, a delivery address of your choice and the invoice being delivered separately.
Right to cancel
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have an unconditional right to cancel your order within 7 working days of delivery.
Liability
Philip Morris & Son takes steps to prevent computer viruses from being transmitted via electronic data transfer, but cannot guarantee that our website, e-mails or linked websites do not contain computer virus code. You are therefore strongly advised to undertake anti virus checks. Philip Morris & Son undertakes no liability for loss or damage howsoever caused.
Philip Morris & Son are not responsible for the content found on linked websites. Philip Morris & Son operate in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and The E – commerce Regulations 2002. All wedding list items purchased over Philip Morris & Sons secure site will be delivered to an address of the wedding couples choice. No postage and packing charge or gift-wrapping charge will be made for items purchased off a wedding list. All other Terms and Conditions apply.

Preview Products
Preview products are products that are not yet available for despatch as they are still being manufactured. Products that are marked as preview lines may be reserved in advance for immediate dispatch when available by purchasing the product in the normal way, (No money will be debited from your account until the goods are despatched) An estimated delivery date will be posted on the product page, Philip Morris & Son will make every effort to deliver your order on time.
Special Offers
Philip Morris & Son Will do promotions from time to time, to qualify for a promotion you will need to have a voucher, these will be distributed by Philip Morris & Son by several methods, InStore, At trade fairs and by Email or any other method appropriate. Currency/Pricing
All transaction will be made in GBP (£). The currency converted prices shown are as a guide only. The card issuer will decide the final conversion rate and any commission charges due. If you have any questions regarding this please contact your card issuer.
International Deliveries
All deliveries will be sent with our courier company and will require a signature on delivery. European Deliveries may take up to 7 working days for delivery to be completed from the date of dispatch. International shipping charges like domestic charges reflect the costs Philip Morris & Son are charged for delivery.
Product Range available
Unfortunately we are not able to offer our full range of products for international delivery due to the Size, Weight and Nature of some products. On selecting your delivery region the website will display if we are unable to deliver a product to your region.
VAT Exemptions Areas.
On selecting your delivery region prices will change to show VAT exempt prices. This will be indicated by text under the price.
Tariffs and Import Tax
Any additional charges levied on products are the responsibility of the purchaser/importer.
International Returns
Our returns policy is the same through out the world (please see our returns policy). We advice all shoppers to check measurements etc of a product before purchasing to avoid additional costs when exchanging or returning an item.
